WELCOME TO MY TRAVELING ART EXHIBIT
“OUT ON A WHIM!”
MAY THE JOY OF WHIMSY BRING OUT THE HAPPY “SOLE” INSIDE YOU.
Hello! My name is Valerie Gibbons and I’m on a mission of mirth! I’m a mixed media artist currently living in Monona, Wisconsin. Several years ago I was disabled by cancer treatment, left with a visual impairment plus several chronic health issues, and concurrently struggled to maintain good mental health despite many setbacks. While the struggles remain, they’ve lessened and my two allies, art and humor, have helped me through. For five years I ran a nonprofit I founded to likewise help other people hit by difficult life experiences “find their footing.” Today, my gift to the community is this traveling exhibit of “footstools with shoes” to share the healing power of art and whimsy.
For information on bringing these AMBASSADORS OF WHIMSY to your facility, please send a message to footsiestools@gmail.com. Enjoy!
